Singer and actor Ariana Grande exited “American Horror Story” Season 13 after her “Eternal Sunshine” tour created a scheduling conflict with filming.
Series creator Ryan Murphy had previously announced Grande as a major addition to the new season. Her global tour left insufficient time for production.
Grande was expected to appear alongside returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe. The three actors have been seen filming scenes in New York.
The reported cast also includes Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman and Jessica Lange.
The role would have extended Grande’s recent return to acting after she played Glinda in the “Wicked” films. She is also set to appear with Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in “Focker-in-Law.”
