Apple will hold its September 9 event at 10 a.m. PT (10 p.m. PKT), with reports pointing to iPhone 18 Pro models and the company’s first foldable iPhone. Apple has confirmed the event date and time but not the products.
The event will come eight days after John Ternus takes over as Apple chief executive officer on September 1, succeeding Tim Cook, who will become executive chairman. Apple announced the leadership transition in April.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, while its long-rumoured foldable could also make its debut. Reports have suggested the foldable may carry the iPhone Ultra name, although Apple has not confirmed its branding.
The foldable model is tipped to feature an approximately 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch screen when closed. Reports also point to Touch ID rather than Face ID, as well as a dual-camera rear system.
Pricing remains unconfirmed. Industry reports have put the potential launch price at USD 2,000 to USD 2,500, positioning the foldable device above Apple’s existing iPhone range.

Apple is also expected to equip the iPhone 18 Pro models with its next-generation A20 Pro processor, along with camera and display upgrades.
The regular iPhone 18 may not launch with the premium models in September. Reports indicate Apple could shift the standard model to spring 2027 as part of a split iPhone release schedule.
