Apple raised Apple Music prices in the United States, lifting the Individual plan to USD 11.99 a month and the Family plan to USD 19.99, its first increase since 2022.
The Individual subscription increased by USD 1 from USD 10.99, while the Family plan rose by USD 3 from USD 16.99. Apple also raised the Student plan by USD 1 to USD 6.99 per month.
Apple attributed the Apple Music price increase to rising licensing costs, which it said would support higher payments to record labels and other rights holders.
The company also increased two Apple One subscription bundles. The Family package now costs USD 27.95 per month, while the Premier tier rose to USD 39.95. Both plans increased by USD 2, while the USD 19.95 Individual bundle remained unchanged.
Apple’s official U.S. website now displays the revised Apple Music rates. The Family plan can be shared with up to five other people, while verified students receive the full Individual plan and Apple TV access.
