SPLIT, Croatia: Footballer Ana Maria Marković has returned to Croatia after joining ŽNK Hajduk following a spell with Brooklyn FC in the United States.
Hajduk announced the 26-year-old forward’s arrival on July 21. Marković said during her presentation that she was eager to play in front of the club’s supporters and help the team meet its goals this season.
Marković later shared a beach-day update after returning home, according to an OutKick report published on August 10.
The Croatia international returned home after playing club football in Switzerland, Portugal and the United States. She also suffered a serious knee injury while with Grasshopper Club Zürich in March 2023.

ŽNK Hajduk entered the 2026-27 UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers after winning its first Croatian league title. Austria Wien defeated Hajduk 3-2 on August 5 before the Croatian club beat Mura 2-0 three days later.
