The American Music Awards 2026 aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25. Queen Latifah hosted the 52nd edition.
The ceremony began at 8 pm ET and 5 pm PT on CBS and Paramount+. The official AMAs announcement said the fan-voted show was produced by Dick Clark Productions.
Paramount+ Premium subscribers could stream the show live. Meanwhile, Paramount+ Essential users could watch it on demand the next day in the United States.
Taylor Swift led the 2026 nominations with eight. The AMAs said Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Sombr followed with seven nominations each.
The show also included two major special honours. Billy Idol received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, Karol G was named the recipient of the International Artist Award of Excellence.
The performer lineup included Billy Idol, Karol G, Darius Rucker, Hootie & the Blowfish, Twenty One Pilots, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, Keith Urban, Maluma, Katseye, Riley Green, New Kids on the Block and Sombr.

Presenters listed for the ceremony included John Legend, Nikki Glaser, Paula Abdul, Hilary Duff, Jason Derulo, Lisa Rinna, Ludacris, Melanie Martinez and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias.
