Addressing the participants of the PAT protest sit-in after the meeting with Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Governor Sinhd Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad  expressed solidarity with them and told that the chief Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain is also awaken for past many days and is equally worried at the situation.

D. Ishrat-ul-Ebad said that the deadlock is still persisting and urged the government to accept the justified demands of the chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri.

He added, “The MQM chief is demonstrating patience and stressing both the sides to resolve issue through talks, for several days, but he may not be able to exhibit this patience any further”.

The Governor Sindh said a deadlock is still persisting between the PAT and the government, while efforts are continued to defuse tensions.
