Following an apparent go-ahead by the government, Chairman Pakistan’s National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) Imtiaz Tajwar said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain’s National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) would be processed shortly.
“The matter has been resolved and a NADRA team will meet Altaf Hussain in London to record the mandatory data for we are ready to assist him regarding his application for NICOP and Pakistani passport”, said Tajwar talking to media here.
According to MQM Senator Tahir Mashhadi, Altaf Hussain has received an assurance from Nadra authorities in this regard.
