In a candid late night talk’ with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supreme leader, Altaf Hussain congratulated the ‘captain’ of the province’s administrative team for the headways made in the investigation of Safoora Goth massacre in which near 47 Ismaili Muslims were shot and killed by a bunch of ‘highly educated Takfiri terrorists.’

“All the police officers, who worked round the clock to crack the case, deserved to be patted on the back,” the MQM leader said.

Offering all-out help from his party, the MQM leader also stressed on the CM to play his due role in finding a solution to the prevailing water crisis that had had the city hot under the collar for a while now.

“In this regard, an MQM delegation will call on you Monday to share some seriously-thought-out suggestions, which can help the government improve the situation” the MQM leader told the CM.

It is pertinent to note here that with the mercury rising in Karachi, an acute shortage of water has started which is creating hardships for the people of the port city.

The 61-year-old MQM leader remains a highly influential figure in Karachi, Pakistan’s economic centre and main port.
