Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has officially announced the commencement of admissions for the Spring 2024 semester.

Starting Monday, January 15, the inaugural phase extends across the nation, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

The AIOU Spring 2024 admissions offer a wide array of academic programs. This diverse range includes Matriculation (Matric), Faculty of Arts (FA), Intermediate in Commerce (I.Com.), various certificate courses, as well as Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs.

The press release issued on Sunday outlines that prospective students can find detailed information and access admission application forms through AIOU’s official website.

Admission Process and Accessibility

The admission process is entirely online for advanced degree programs such as BS (face-to-face), MS, MPhil, and PhD. In contrast, students are interested in matriculation, intermediate, and I.Com. They can submit their application forms manually or electronically. Furthermore, admission forms and prospectuses for certificate courses, matriculation, and FA programs are available at the university’s main campus, regional campuses, swift centres, and designated prospectus sale points nationwide.

The university has also planned a second phase of admissions, which is set to begin on March 1, 2024. This provides additional opportunities for students who aspire to join AIOU in the upcoming academic session.
