Carlos Alcaraz won the US Open title by beating Jannik Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in an exciting match. The 22-year-old Spaniard has now won six Grand Slam trophies and returned to the top of the world tennis rankings.

Alcaraz took control early in the match. He broke Sinner’s serve in the first set and played smart, aggressive tennis. Alcaraz made several strong serves and surprised Sinner with quick play at the net. He finished the first set with a powerful serve that Sinner could not return.

Sinner was not ready to give up. He played well in the second set, saving early break points and winning with steady shots from the baseline. This levelled the match at one set each.
