A seven-year-old girl was criminally assaulted and stoned to death in Gujranwala earlier today.
The young girl went missing yesterday evening and police recovered her body after an extensive search.
The corpse was recovered from the fields near her house.
Police confirmed the girl was assaulted based on the initial reports. However, the body was sent for further medical investigation.
Earlier in Lahore, the nude body of a six year boy was also found hanged from the roof of a mosque, on January 3, the boy had been repeatedly sodomized.
