The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that all industries and power plants in Sindh will experience a 48-hour gas supply halt starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
This suspension results from decreased gas availability due to low pressure in the SSGC system.
In alignment with regulations set by OGRA and the ECC of the cabinet, industries, including power generation units, will face this temporary closure. The gas supply is set to resume at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023.
SSGC emphasized that gas will be distributed based on the approved priority sequence during this period. Any violations observed during this “Gas Holiday” will result in a gas disconnection for at least 7 days.
