At least 42 people has been admitted in Sheikh Zayed Hospital after eating toxic rice during a wedding ceremony in Rahim Yar Khan on Saturday.
According to hospital administration the affected people were brought to Sheikh Zayed Hospital where most of the people are in stable condition.
Hospital administration also confirmed that at least 26 people have been discharged after receiving first aid. The remaining 16 people are still being treated at the hospital. However, at least eight people are in critical state.
As many as 42 people were admitted unconscious after eating rice in a wedding ceremony that took place in Khan Bela area of Rahim Yar Khan.
