The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) earlier today seized two vehicles full of unhygienic meat in Lahore, said a statement that was issued by that department.
According to the statement about 30 maund (nearly 1200 kg) of unhealthy meat was being supplied from Raiwand to Lahore.
Samples of the meat have been sent to a laboratory for test.
At least two people accused of assisting the meat supply have been handed over to the police.
