Three more inmates on death row were executed early morning today, in Lahore and Gujranwala jails.
Two convicts, Inamullah and Shafqat, were hanged in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail and another, Tariq EIahi, in Gujranwala Central Jail, according to jail officials.
They said Inamullah had murdered a man on a petty dispute in Shahdara area of Lahore in 2001 whereas Shafqat was convicted for killing a person in Sheikhupura city.
The third condemned prisoner, Tariq Elahi, had killed his niece in 2001 over her love marriage in Gujranwala.
