At least 22 people died late on Monday night after consuming toxic liquor on Christmas eve in Toba Tek Singh.
According to hospital administration, over two dozen people were hospitalized in DHQ Toba Tek Singh after consuming the toxic booze in Mubarakabad Christian Colony, where 22 of them died.
The administration also confirmed that condition of 12 others is said to be critical and they have been shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
Punjab government have formed an inquiry committee under DSP Atif Imran to probe the matter.
