Recognizing the paramount necessity of protecting the nation, the federal government has resolved to set aside Rs 1.804 trillion for the Defence Division in the 2023-24 Federal Budget.
The previous Federal Budget of 2022-23 saw the Defence Division’s allocation at Rs 1.52 trillion. This year, however, there has been an enhancement in the allocation by Rs 281 billion, which evidently underlines the government’s steadfast devotion to upholding the nation’s security and defense.
Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, announced this allocation during the presentation of the Federal Budget 2023-24 at the National Assembly on Friday.
