A London-based newspaper has claimed that some matches of 2011 World Cup and the Indian Premier League were fixed.
The Daily Mail quoted a ‘confidential’ report of the International Cricket Council’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) which claimed that several high-profile players of different teams were approached by a few fixers. The players reportedly co-operated with them.
Officials said some matches in fourth season of the IPL were also suspicious.
