Talented yet unfortunate Argentinian tennis player Juan del Potro pulled out of the 2014 US Open as he failed to recover from a wrist injury.
Potro known for winning his only grand slam to date at Flushing Meadows in 2009 where he defeated Federer, has not played any match after his surgery in March. Del Potro will be replaced by 88th ranked Simone Bolelli of Italy.
