Atleast Eleven people including two police officers were injured in an explosion here in Mardan on Tuesday.
According to details, a bomb device exploded at Mardan’s Toru Chowk leaving 11 people including two policemen injured.
A stampede took place after the explosion as people started running out of panic for saving their lives. Rescue teams arrived at the scene after the incident and shifted the injured persons to a hospital for treatment.
Police and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the blast scene and started the investigation of the explosion. According to bomb disposal experts 600 grams of explosives were used in the bomb planted in front of a shop at Toru Chowk.
The law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation after the bomb blast.
