The Accountability Court granted the appeal of the counsel of former president Asif Ali Zardari to argue again in NAB (National accountability bureau) reference case
During the hearing today, the counsel Faruque H. Naek prayed that he wanted to provided this court Lahore High Court (LHC)’s that order in which no mention was made of any corruption case against his client Asif Ali Zardari.
Faruqe H. Naek said that he also wanted to bring forth some technical points before the court in the two references relating SGS and Cotecna and prayed for permission to argue again on the subject. He further said that since this was the first Ashra of the holy month of Ramazan the court should not proceed with the cases at least in this period. He did not elaborate why he had made this plea.
Thereafter, the court directed him to present the aforesaid relevant documents on next hearing and adjourned until July 22.
