At least three terrorists and the mastermind of Wagha border blast have been killed in a joint operation by law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) in Lahore on early Saturday.

The mastermind Roohullah was the chief of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Lahore. He belonged to Mullah Fazlullah group.

According to initial report, police and LEAs received an information about the presence of terrorists at a house located  in Lahore’s suburbs on Burki road.

On  surveillance the LEAs found the presence of Roohullah, the security personnel jointly cracked down on the suspected militant hideout and  the terrorists opened gunfire and in retaliatory gunfire killed two terrorists and Roohullah blew him up.

All three terrorists belonged to Bajuar Agency. Three bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital where security has been heightened.

Following the action, the search operation continued for two more hours in the area.
