A small plane carrying crew members from a Tom Cruise movie crashed in Colombia.
According to CNN, the plane crashed due to foggy and cloudy conditions in the Colombian mountains. Two crew members aboard including a prominent Hollywood stunt pilot killed in the crash.
Universal Pictures in a statement said that the crew members had just wrapped up work on the new film “Mena,”
The statement also stated that “On behalf of the production, our hearts and prayers go out to the crew members and their families at this difficult time,”
According to Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority, the crew members include Hollywood stunt pilot Alan D. Purwin and Carlos Brel.
