Karachi: Three police personnel were gunned down in an early morning gun attack on their van in Karachi area of Azizabad on Wednesday.
The policemen were on night duty in Bhingoria Goth area of Azizabad when four miscreants riding two motorbikes sprayed bullets on their van killing three of them on the spot.
Police sources said in an initial report that 9mm bullet casings were recovered from the attack site. According to SP Liaquatabad Tahir Noorani, police mobile van came under attack by the miscreants.
The bodies have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased include Sub-inspector Sikandar, head constables Asif and Ashraf.
