Death toll in famine-struck Thar escalated to 268 in 93 days as four more babies died today.
The deceased include a 10-day old Rizwana Bajeer of Chachro, a newborn in Kimari village Diplo and an infant in Chandano village in addition to two others.
Locals of Thar’s drought stricken region have been deprived of wheat assistance as the administration has slowed down the distribution of aid.
