he provincial capital of Punjab experienced heavy rainfall on Tuesday leading to power breakdowns in several areas of the city.
122 electricity feeders tripped in the city leading to a power loss in those areas. The roof of a house in Shaadra Town also collapsed due to the rain.
In Lahore, various low -lying areas including Lakshmi Chowk, Dharampur, Wasanpur and others were inundated after the downpour.
Apart from Lahore heavy rainfall was also experienced in Islamabad, Sargodha, Faisalabad and other cities of Punjab.
The Meteorological Office has forecast cloudy weather and intermittent rain during next 24 hours in various parts of the country.
