Police, Army launch operation against illegal Afghan migrants, SIMs

Police and Pakistan Army have launched joint operation against illegal Afghan immigrants and mobile SIMs at Yaka Toot area of Peshawar to curb terrorism.

According to Superintendent police Dr. Mustafa, bomb disposal squad and women officers will also take part in the raids against the criminal elements in the city.

Sources have said that security agencies have decided to launch crackdown against the suspects after receiving information of criminal elements in the area from the arrested persons.

It should be noted that illegal Afghan immigrants and mobile SIMs are important factors of terror incidents in the region.
