In a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson on Saturday stated “The deceased local resident, identified as Muhammad Aslam, was cutting grass about 150 meters from the Line of Control (LoC) inside Pakistan, when Indian border security force shot him dead,”
Pakistan has called upon India to restrain its trigger-happy security forces from firing on the civilians, and stop violating the ceasefire agreement along the LoC & Working Boundary.
According to Pakistani military, the indiscriminate shooting by the Indian troops in Rawlakot sector that led to the death of a civilian, prompted Pakistani gunners to retaliate.
“Aslam received three bullets in abdomen” as Indian troops fired across the de facto border, the military said in a statement, adding that Pakistani troops responded with fire. (Agencies / PhotoNews)
