Mina Hajj disaster: Number of martyred Pakistanis reaches 76

The number of Pakistani pilgrims martyred in the stampede at Mina near the holy city of Makkah has risen to 76, the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed on Monday.

According to the fresh list issued by the ministry, about 60 Pakistanis are still missing after the incident.

Over 360 Pakistani pilgrims who went missing after the stampede have been traced.

Meanwhile, the body of the body of Asad Murtaza Gillani, nephew of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, has been repatriated to Pakistan.

Asad Gilani was among the Hajj pilgrims martyred in Mina stampede.

The ex-PM received the body of Murtaza Gilani at Multan airport.
