Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJ) Nasir-ul-Malik on Tuesday has ordered to summon a hearing on the suo moto notice taken by Supreme Court (SC) on Kot Radha Kishen case and issued notices to regional and district police officers.
According to sources, SC has received a detailed report from Inspector General (IG) Punjab and Secretary of Ministry of Minority Affairs on which CJ has ordered to summon formal hearing on this issue.
Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan today (Saturday) took suo moto notice of lynching of a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan village in Punjab province.
The apex court has directed the provincial government to investigate the matter in three days and submit a reply.
