According to a police official, some wanted criminals were also apprehended in addition to 35 suspects. The police official said firearms were recovered from three suspects.
All the suspects have been shifted to local police stations. After brief interrogations, the decision will be made about their release.
Meantime, at least five criminals were collared during a police search operation in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Police said weapons and drugs were recovered from their custody.
Earlier in Thursday evening, the rangers detained 22 people including Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) unit in-charge and joint unit in-charge from Sindhi Hotel, Liaquatabad area of the metropolis.
