Three-day 778th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Soharwardy kick off today (Thursday) in Multan.

According to Radio Pakistan , a large number of devotees from across the country are participating in Urs celebrations and paying respects to the great mystic.

Meanwhile, the district administration made strict security arrangements for the Urs.

Almost all national and provincial departments set up their camps at Qila Qasim Bagh to facilitate the faithful.

Civil defence and bomb disposal squad staff were also deployed at the shrine.

Mahafils of Waaz, naat and Qirat will also be held during three days.  (APP)
