COAS Welcomes Army School Children On Reopening

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif  and  his wife welcomed the students to Peshawar’s Army Public School after the winter vacations on Monday (today).

TTP militants  attacked Army Public School in Peshawar on 16th December, 2014 killing 150 people including 134 children and nine staff members.

motional scenes were witnessed in the school as many children were crying while remembering their school mates.

According to DG ISPR, the army chief  on the occassion said that the morale of the entire nation is high and terrorism will be wiped out from the country.

COAS  also sang the national anthem and poem “Lab pe aati hai dua ban ke Tamanna meri” with the school children during the assembly.
