Islamabad : China’s President Xi Jinping arrived here on Monday on a two-day official visit.
The special plane of the Chinese President was escorted by eight JF-17 aircraft as it entered the Pakistan’s air space.
The two leaders are having discussions on host of issues including security situation in the region and the crisis in Yemen.
The planned $46 billion investment plan would also come under discussion that will further consolidate bilateral relations.
Earlier, President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and three services chiefs received the Chinese president at Nur Khan Airbase this morning.
Red carpet was rolled-out and 21-gun salute given to the dignitary as he landed at the airbase along with his high level delegation also comprising CEOs from a wide spectrum of business houses of China.
