In the running for title of the world’s smallest horse, Micro-Dave was born 12 inches tall – the same height as a two litre bottle of coke, Yahoo News reports.
Now aged 12-days-old, the American miniature stallion from Haysden Liveries in Kent stands a full two inches shorter than Einstein who is recognised as the world’s smallest horse.
His owner, Jen Baldwin-Murphy, said, “He’s the first foal I’ve owned, but I’ve seen lots – never anything like him. He may be small, but he makes up for it by being bold. As he gets older, he gets cheekier. It’s impossible to keep him from dashing between fields.”
Jen’s husband, Dave, bought Microdave’s mother as a present for her in 2014. After being born on June 11 – two weeks early – Jen had to convert her hay barn with low enough doors to fit the diminutive colt properly. How adorable can you actually get? Not much more than this cheeky chap.
