Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) leader Moulana Aurangzeb Farooqi escaped a terrorist attack in Karachi area of Quaidabad midnight, Sunday.
According to police sources, Farooqi escaped the attack unhurt; however, his three gunmen sustained gunshot injuries in the drive-by shooting assault on Quaidabad bridge past midnight.
The injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Following the incident, different people resorted to aerial firing triggering panic among the local residents.
