The wall between the two Sports ground of Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan has been demolished for the wedding reception of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son.
According to university administration, to accommodate approximate 25000 guests, two grounds were merged. The wall of the ground was broken and chains were cut off.
Students of the Zakariya University launched a social media campaign against the university administration.
On the other hand, Director Public Relations Dr Sohaib, the university had only given permission for the wedding reception to be conducted in the ground, however, administration hasn’t given any permission for the destruction of the wall between the two grounds.
The university administration has only charged a rent of Rs5,000 for the ground.
