A 13-year-old American girl, Avery Emerson Fisher, has astounded the global community with her extraordinary underwater magic skills. She recently set a new record for performing the most magic tricks underwater in three minutes. Her performance, showcased in a video on the official Guinness World Records Instagram page, featured her skillfully executing various magic tricks while donning scuba gear.
Avery’s journey into this unique skill began during lockdown at 10. Inspired by her love for the local aquarium, she wanted to learn scuba diving with her father, Jon. Excelling in her studies and training, Avery earned her open water diver certificate and an additional 12 certifications, alongside completing over 30 ocean dives. Her passion extends beyond scuba diving to marine conservation and ocean stewardship, aiming to inspire others and raise awareness about oceanic issues.
In a stunning display at the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco, Avery merged her passions for magic and scuba diving to attempt the record for the most underwater magic tricks in three minutes. Surpassing the previous record of 20 tricks, she executed an impressive 38 illusions in the chilly waters. Her remarkable achievement captivated the audience and earned the recognition of Guinness World Records adjudicators.
