Kanye West has filed a lawsuit against YesJulz, legally known as Julianne Goddard, demanding over $8 million in damages for a non-disclosure agreement violation related to her employment and revealing sensitive information.
Details of this amount were revealed in what seems to be a snippet of legal documents posted on Instagram, a move answering YesJulz’s bold defiance of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) enforcement she previously challenged.
The documents cited YesJulz‘s multiple breaches of her NDA, including the unauthorized release of corporate data, social media tactics, private communications with Ye and his management, and confidential details about the Vultures album and unreleased product designs. The breach was described as significantly damaging.
Ye’s legal team believed to include Milo Yiannopoulos among its members, defends the $8 million claim as justified given the circumstances.
The statement mentioned seeking an alternative dispute resolution, suggesting a preference for arbitration, a process involving a neutral third party to facilitate a settlement outside of court. This approach typically seeks to resolve disputes privately, avoiding public court proceedings.
Speculation about Ye filing a lawsuit against YesJulz has grown, though arbitration would aim for a confidential settlement. Milo Yiannopoulos’s involvement was hinted at through leaked communications, where he allegedly commented on Ye’s fanbase.
YesJulz recently reiterated her stance, linking to the track “Jail” from the Donda era and affirming her previous comments on social media.
Ye announced YesJulz’s removal from the Vultures project rollout in a separate development due to purported unauthorized fan interactions.
With Vultures 2’s release pending, fans are left waiting for an update on the trilogy’s launch strategy.
