In a shocking incident captured on CCTV in Lahore’s Defense area, a woman was critically injured after being shot six times.
The victim, identified as Zainab Jamil, a former Geo News anchor, was attacked as she parked her car outside her beauty salon. The footage shows two masked assailants approaching her vehicle; one of them dismounted a motorcycle, opened her car door, and fired multiple shots at close range before they both fled the scene.
According to police investigations, Zainab Jameel’s husband is allegedly involved. Zainab sustained six gunshot wounds and is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the attack occurred as Zainab was leaving her salon to head home, resulting in her sustaining six bullet wounds.
The police are conducting a thorough investigation, exploring various leads to apprehend the masked attackers, and are optimistic about making progress in the case soon.
