Winter Vacation Schedule Announced for Sindh Schools and Colleges

On Tuesday, the Sindh Education Department declared that public and private educational institutions across the province will have their winter vacation from December 22 to 31.

This decision follows the deliberations of the Sub-Committee meeting of the Steering Committee on Education, which convened on January 25, 2024, chaired by the Honorable Minister for Education Sindh. The notification outlined, “In pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting, the winter vacation schedule for the academic session 2024 for all public and private educational institutions under the Administrative Control of the College Education Department, Government of Sindh, shall commence from December 21, 2024, to December 31, 2024.”

After the winter break, schools and colleges will resume classes on Wednesday, January 1, 2024.
