Tessa Thompson has finally commented on speculation surrounding her potential return in Avengers: Doomsday.
Thompson has portrayed Valkyrie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Thor: Ragnarok. She last appeared as the character in The Marvels.
During a recent interview with The Playlist, the actress declined to confirm whether she would reprise the role in the upcoming Avengers instalment. “I’m not able to confirm anything,” Thompson said when asked directly about her involvement.
She added that her affection for Valkyrie remains strong and that she would always be open to returning. “I just love the character so much that I would always be interested,” she said.
