A video featuring a rare two-headed snake has captivated social media users. In the footage, zookeeper Jay Brewer from Fountain Valley, California, interacts with the small reptile at his facility, The Reptile Zoo.
Brewer shared the video on his Instagram and YouTube channels, which quickly went viral. The viewers were particularly struck by a moment when the snake bit Brewer with both heads simultaneously.
In the video, Brewer is seen holding the snake just behind its head and playfully waving his finger. Meanwhile, an assistant supports the snake’s midsection and tail. Brewer teases the snake, saying, “Look, look, look, you see.” Both heads lunge and bite his finger, prompting him to exclaim, “Ow, I just got bit—twice.”
His commentary during the encounter includes lighthearted remarks such as, “Whoa, whoa, that’s a grumpy little girl. Why are you so grumpy? Which one’s grumpier? I can’t figure out.”
Last week, Brewer posted the video with the caption: “TWO HEADED SNAKE BIT ME.” He humorously noted, “I thought dealing with one angry snake was enough, but now I gotta deal with two of them,” and added, “One of these girls is feistier than the other, but it looks like both of them decided that they should bite me.”
