Prominent Pakistani actress Ushna Shah has publicly sought legal assistance in a case involving severe animal cruelty that she recently highlighted.

Shah, an outspoken advocate for animal rights, expressed her distress over a viral incident in which three puppies were thrown off a balcony. In response, she rewarded 100,000 PKR to anyone who could help identify the perpetrators.

The incident came to light through a video that spread quickly on social media, showing the cruel act. Ushna Shah responded by condemning the individuals responsible and likened their actions to those of a serial killer. Initially shared by a local NGO, this video prompted a significant backlash and spurred Shah to take action.

I am putting a 100k bounty on their heads: Help me find them. If any lawyer wants to take up this case pro bono and help keep them behind bar for maximum amount of time (once they’re found) please get in touch.

In a statement on social media, Shah announced her intention to reward anyone providing information that leads to identifying and capturing the individuals involved. She further expressed a desire to collaborate with legal professionals to ensure justice. “If any lawyer wishes to help bring these culprits to justice and put them behind bars, they can contact me,” she stated.

According to sources, the individuals allegedly involved in the incident have been identified as Qasim, Talat, and Asad. Police action has resulted in the arrest of Qasim, while Talat and Asad remain at large. During police interrogation, Qasim claimed Asad instructed him to carry out the act.

This case has not only sparked outrage among animal rights advocates but also highlighted the need for stronger legal measures to protect animals from cruelty in Pakistan.
