Over the weekend, US and British forces struck 18 Houthi sites, targeting military assets across Yemen, a joint statement revealed.
Houthi reports acknowledged one fatality and eight injuries from these strikes, underscoring the conflict’s human toll.
A multinational statement endorsed by several countries highlighted over 45 attacks on maritime vessels since mid-November, stressing the global economic and regional security risks.
Initiating Red Sea shipping attacks in November, the Houthis aimed at Israeli-affiliated vessels, expressing solidarity with Palestinians affected by the conflict in Gaza.
In response to attacks on maritime routes, the Houthis have also identified American and British interests as targets.
