Senior journalist Hamid Mir made notable claims on Kamran Khan’s program, stating that Adiala Jail opened its doors on Sunday for an unusual meeting with Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to Mir, a couple of members of Khan’s party are allowed to visit him beyond the regular visiting hours, particularly on Sundays. He also highlighted that the same individuals visiting Khan meet with influential figures.
Mir emphasized the importance of adhering to legal protocols and the rulings of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, suggesting that meaningful dialogue can only occur if PTI members are not subjected to abductions and if the government respects and follows the judiciary’s directives.
The situation underscores the ongoing tensions and the complex political landscape in Pakistan, where the interactions between political figures, their parties, and the law are closely scrutinized.
