A double cabin vehicle of the United Nations was snatched in Karachi earlier today whereas four people were reported injured in a separate incident in the city. Moreover, two alleged members of a banned group were also taken into custody here by law enforcement personnel.

Unidentified men snatched the double cabin vehicle of the UN from Karachi’s Ayesha Manzil area.

Viewing the snatching as an alarming development, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) boosted security across the city.

Meanwhile, Rangers claimed to have arrested two alleged members of a banned outfit. The arrests were made during a raid carried out in Mujahid Colony in Karachi’s Liaquatabad Town.

Separately, four people, including a woman and a child, were injured in Lyari Town’s Chakiwara area.

The casualties occurred when unknown gunmen opened indiscriminate firing in the area, with the four injured receiving multiple bullet wounds.
