Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General, confirmed on Monday that there are no visa restrictions for Pakistanis wishing to enter the Gulf nation.
Consul General UAE’s clarification addressed concerns reported by residents of Sindh province regarding visa acquisitions.
In a statement, Dr Remeithi emphasized the UAE’s commitment to supporting Pakistani businessmen, labourers, and medical visitors across cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, affirming that the UAE offers full visa facilities to Pakistani nationals.
Highlighting the deep-rooted cultural, religious, and economic ties between the UAE and Pakistan spanning over five decades, the consul general announced an upcoming special awareness program at the Karachi Consulate.
The program aims to educate travellers on the proper procedures for visiting the UAE, including advisories against carrying prohibited items and the importance of packing luggage personally to prevent issues.
Additionally, Dr. Remeithi revealed plans to introduce a new initiative tailored for the business communities in both countries. This forthcoming program will ensure extensive support for Pakistani entrepreneurs seeking business opportunities in the UAE or those looking to facilitate UAE company operations in Pakistan.
