Bannu: Security forces while foiling terrorism attempt arrested two miscreants from Bannu today.
According to details, anti-terrorism department detained two miscreants who were planting explosive material under Hawaid Bridge and confiscated explosives, ball bearing, battery, remote control and other material from their possession.
Moreover, the miscreants were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation, whereas 17 suspects were arrested while doing search operation around the area.
On the other hand, search operation was also conducted in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), during which 820 suspects were detained including 37 Afghan individuals. Police checked 645 houses and 287 hotels, whereas security system of 837 institutions was reviewed. Many educational institutions were also warned to improve their security.
