Twenty laborers killed in Turbat

Quetta: At least 20 from Sindh and Punjab were gunned down and three others wounded in Turbat, Baluchistan in today’s early hours on Saturday.

According to Levies sources, the laborers were asleep at the time of attack at a camp located near the construction site, when at least 20 terrorists attacked around 2am, killing all of them on the spot.

The Levies sources also confirmed that at least seven Levies personnels were deployed at the construction site.

The attackers  attacked from different  sites of the camp and  opened reckless firing at the sleeping construction workers.

According to local sources, the Levies personnel deployed at the construction site did not retaliate and assailants fled easily.

Bodies and the injured have been shifted District Headquarters Hospital. The hospital sources said the injured laborers are in critical state.

The hospital sources said most of the bullets injuries are at the torsos.

Personnel of Levies force and the FC, having rushed to the site, put security cordon around the area and kick-started search operation to track down the attackers.
